Psychos of a feather
January 26th, 2007 . by ImshinShalom Yerushalmy, in today’s Zman Tel Aviv, Maariv’s Tel Aviv weekly, tells of a woman who approached him sixteen years ago with a story about then Minister of Transport, Moshe Katzav. He said it wasn’t the first hint of dirt he had heard about the man. He also said that the woman later denied it all, apparently having been threatened by Katzav’s goons.
How familiar does this sound?
The women who succumbed to the minister’s blunt courtship were rewarded with special treatment. Those who refused him, rapidly found themselves sitting in a side room, away from the professional and social life of the ministry, wiped from tours around the country. There were those who got the message, submitted to the minister and did what he wanted, or left the ministry.
Eerily Mitzi-esque. Do you reckon they all read the same manual, these creeps?
At least with Mitzi it was just him, quite modest. Can you imagine how many people were in with Katzav on this, oiling the cogs. helping him get his way? He was the minister, for goodness sake. How many people knew, besides the victims, and didn’t say anything? And where are they now?
Well at least it’s out now.
