When no words come to mind, there’s always cats!
June 24th, 2005 . by ImshinBilly is fascinated by my meditation pillow. She has discovered that when she presses one side, things move in different parts of the inside.
Hmmm, maybe there’s a nice rat inside. Or even better - bread (Is this a crazy kitten or what? She regularly opens the zippers of the girls’ school bags, pulls out their sandwiches, tears open the plastic bag, and eats the the bread. Shoosha wouldn’t dream of degrading herself by eating anything that didn’t once have a mother).

Shoosha can’t see what all the excitement is about.

Behind Shoosha you can just see my new bicycle carrier bag. It takes me 35 minutes to cycle to the new workplace and 40 minutes back. Coming back is uphill part of the way and it’s in the early afternoon heat. I’m going to be extremely fit in no time, and will have spent all my meager wages on sunscreen, which is very expensive in this country (go figure).
I must remember to take a camera and take photos of the promenade.
